Preparation & homework

The registered attendees receive a briefing document by e-mail, but this is in short the preparation needed for this meeting:

Product catalogue

The Detailed work package description for WP3 says: "[esd-toolkit] will share its approaches with the Smart Cities partners as well as with the national authorities. All partners are interested to work with product catalogues." Porism put an outline proposal to the Steering Committee in Karlstad in June 2009 for the adoption of an EU product catalogue. The Committee decided that it should explore the proposal in detail at the Osterholz meeting.

In preparation for this session it is requested that all partners:

* Take a look at the UK Local Government Service List viewer and associated pages
* Look at the pages entitled What are all these lists?"
* Prepare answers to these questions: Does your municipality or country have a standard list of services or something unofficial which might be used to identify your full range of services? / Do you see a role for such a catalogue in your municipality? / What role would you like to take in compiling the SmartCities Product Catalogue and main-streaming it?

Please give these answer during the session (they may change as we discuss the topic) or, if you are not attending, send them in advance

Evaluation framework

There will be material on the wiki published in the coming days [including the presentation for the Monday pm]. It is advised to read it in advance if we are to get the most out of the session.

Partners who are working on contact centres should come to the meeting with a list of their key outcomes, key outputs, and key indicators: this will be necessary so we can have a discussion on how best to identify common outputs/stages/indicators across all the pilots to measure progress.
