Services, service lists and the Smart Cities EU service list project - 2010
EU ministers have committed to developing smarter online public services for citizens and businesses by 2015. The Commission has welcomed this step forward in making eGovernment more accessible, interactive and customised.
The Smart Cities partners develop local pilots. The first results are visible, and knowledge on these pilots is shared in the network. On a meeting in Amsterdam the partners presented their local experiences.
The German cities of Osterholz-Scharmbeck and Oldenburg welcome the Smart Cities partners on 7-8 September. Workshops on product catalogues, evaluation and contact centres will be combined with study visits and informal meetings.
Bremerhaven re-launched the online city portal on Thur 9th July 2009. Under "www.bremerhaven.de" the new designed information pages for public services and tourism were presented to the public officially by the mayor of the City of Bremerhaven, Mr. Jörg Schulz.
Bremerhaven partners (BIS Tourist Board and i-ventions) meet on Thur 6th August for a working meeting.

Karlstad municipality and the University of Karlstad welcomed the Smart Cities partners in the beginning of June. On the Steering Committee the partners agreed on work plans, communication issues and other project related items.
This workshop presents views and insights on personalised web portals, from the perceived need of personalised services, business model and the model behind self service web services to the way those services need to be developed. This academy goes deeper in the “why?” and the “how?” of personalised services.
