The German cities of Osterholz-Scharmbeck and Oldenburg welcome the Smart Cities partners on 7-8 September. Workshops on product catalogues, evaluation and contact centres will be combined with study visits and informal meetings.

Bremerhaven re-launched the online city portal on Thur 9th July 2009. Under "www.bremerhaven.de" the new designed information pages for public services and tourism were presented to the public officially by the mayor of the City of Bremerhaven, Mr. Jörg Schulz.

Smart Cities partners meet on Steering Committee Karlstad

Karlstad municipality and the University of Karlstad welcomed the Smart Cities partners in the beginning of June. On the Steering Committee the partners agreed on work plans, communication issues and other project related items.
